Under his black hat shines crazy eyes while he fills his offbeat tango with candomblé, milonga and Mediterranean accents. Displaying real charisma, he inhabits the scene through a deep voice that carries the weight of many implied sleepless nights. A generous host, Melingo includes guests such as Vinicio Capossela, an emblematic figure of Italian folk rock and Juliette, a free spirit whose guile capsizes "Tango del Vampiro." We also encounter the timeless "Volver a los diecisiete" by Chilean Violeta Sandoval and Naïssam Jalal's flute playing, whose grace matches a that of a text by Garcia Lorca or the Quechua poet Atahualpa Yupanqui ...
